Job Description
- For its branches such as: Tramkok Branch, Battambang Branch, Chhouk Branch, Kampong Cham Branch, Poi Pet Branch, Svay Reang Branch, Samraong/Bati Branch.
The Credit Agent will be under the supervision of the credit manager. The Credit Agent is responsible for establishing, maintaining, monitoring and evaluating the operations of village banks. The Credit Agent shall perform a dual role, namely as a recorder for village banks more permanently assigned to his/her and as a Treasurer of village banks assigned to him/her on a rotational basis.
Promotes and establishes new village banks through networking and using survey &research methodologies
Maintains existing village banks and encourages new membership
Assists village bank group leaders in their loan application
Monitors closely loan utilization, loan repayment and savings generation
Prepare monthly operation reports
Jobs Requirement
- At least university degree in suitable area, preferably in accounting and economics
- Experience in handling loans/credit account
- Skills in survey methodologies and techniques
- Monitoring and evaluation skills
- Very honest and hard working
- Willingness to work in the rural poor
- Basic English knowledge
