Vacancy Type: Work Experience:5 Age: Full-time , Short-term The position requires a person interested to work in a team of capacity builders. The SRC is through a contract with the MOH engaged in Takeo to build the capacity of the managers of all 5 Operational Districts in Takeo province, the Provincial Health Department and the Provincial Referral Hospital to make them competent to implement the performance contracts that are being developed between these health structures for the delivery of public health services to the population of Takeo province. When accepted, you will start to be based in Takeo Town, to build the capacity of the managers of the 5 Operational Districts in Takeo province and of the Provincial Referral Hospital in the area of planning, improve the reliability of HIS data and the use of these data for planning and monitoring. At the same time training of managers in the Provincial Health Department in the same area will be part of your job. The main training methods are on-the-job training and, in cooperation with the other SRC Team members, organizing peer-education. You are also asked to attend trainings that concern your field of work by the Ministry of Health, to be able to assist the health personnel afterwards in their job to follow-up on the training and ensuring implementation of what was learned. - Preferably a medical degree, but this is not a must - A public health certificate is a pre - At least 5 years of experience in capacity building in fields like strengthening health services, capacity building, monitoring & evaluation, etc. - Experience in contract and performance management is of course an advantage - Proven ability to function well as a trainer - Previous experience of work with NGO(s) is preferred - Ability to work in a team - Good command of English and Khmer: written and spoken - Competent in Word, Excel and if possible Power Point - Cambodian n nationals have preference
