Vacancy Type:Work Experience:Age: SISHA is expanding its qualified and experienced team and is currently seeking 2 professional Cambodian Nationals to fill 2 aftercare assistant positions in its Victim Aftercare department. DUTIES : - Attend the scene of Police/SISHA raids and establish relationships with identified victims and provide trauma minimization assistance - Attend Police interviews with victims, provide support and liaise with Police during all aspects of their investigations - Conduct interviews of victims/ vulnerable persons and assist in the completion of in depth witness statements - Attend medical examinations of victims and brief medical examiners on case details (as appropriate) - Liaise with Shelter/ Rescue centers to accommodate/care for victims - Liaise with Local & International Policing and Government Departments - Accompany victims/family to any court hearing/ legal process - Remain as an ongoing and active point of contact for the victim and their family throughout the investigation and aftercare process - Keep detailed notes on all daily activities related to victim and investigation case files - Be accountable for financial transactions during work and assist in the management of the Aftercare Department budget |
- Qualifications in aftercare of victim of trauma - Prior experience with an aftercare organization or NGO, or any other employment role that required development of Aftercare skills - Ability to work alone and/or within a team office environment - Willingness to travel extensively at short notice to provinces of Cambodia - Responsibly and caringly be able to recognize, understand and deal with the trauma of victims of any gender, especially those who have been sexually abused - Excellent communication skills - English language skills essential - We will would like to fill one of the roles with someone with Vietnamese language skills - Trustworthy, honest and a genuine desire to assist exploited men, women and children essential HOW TO APPLY : Interested candidiates please send us your CV (in English and/or Khmer) with 3 recent referees who can provide details of your professional experience and personal characteristics.
