Job Description

	Vacancy Type:Law Work Experience: Age: International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Case Monitor in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Case Monitor will be responsible for managing and tracking IJM’s cases at every stage of the judicial process, providing translation of court documents and proceedings, and assisting the Legal Program Coordinator in the preparation and presentation of legal aid materials. DUTIES : - Support legal department by creating, maintaining, and organizing both physical and electronic files for all IJM cases - Coordinate legal representation for victims with partner legal aid organizations and ensure that all victims have satisfactory representation - Develop and maintain relationships within the legal community to learn about scheduled hearings and trials - Attend and document judicial proceedings - Translate legal training materials - Communicate regularly with Legal Department staff to ensure coordination of legal efforts and consult with the Legal Department staff to develop, improve, and carry out best practices

	- Bachelor’s Degree (completed or in progress) with demonstrated interest in law - Strong oral and written Khmer and English communication skills - Proficient computer skills (especially Microsoft Office) - Professional demeanor - Ability to relate to a wide variety of constituents and promote the mission of IJM effectively OTHER REQUIREMENTS : - Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles’ Creed - Ethical, hard-working, professional, self-motivated, flexible, and discreet - Passionate about IJM’s mission and child protection issues - Team Player- able and willing to work in multi-cultural interdisciplinary professional teams - Good communication and organizational skills HOW TO APPLY : Interested candidates please submit applications no later than closing date.via email address below.
