Job Description

	Vacancy Type: Work Experience:6 Age: The Economic and Social Relaunch of the Northwest Provinces (ECOSORN) is an European Commission funded project (FA No. 16793 – KHM/AIDCO/2004/16793) executed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Project in 3 target provinces (Siem Reap, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang) and a coordination office in Phnom Penh. DUTIES : - Reviewing of existing documents: as built drawings, maintenance guidelines, etc - Assisting the communes to establish road user groups and coordination with PDRDs - Preparing documents for the trainings with the road user groups - Training the members of the road user groups, so that they are able to fulfil their responsibilities for road maintenance. The trainings shall include at least following contents: - sustainable road maintenance management through the communes - Planning, supervising and execution of common maintenance techniques: routine and periodic road maintenance, labour based, mechanised, etc - effective control of traffic and limitation of traffic loads - Explanation to communities on financial requirements status for each type of maintenances - Prepare budget request for road maintenance training - Prepare requirement documents for training as stated in project rule - Undertake other tasks related duties as assigned by the Provincial Manager, Provincial Coordinator and head of group

Job Requirements

	- Degree in civil / rural engineering or equivalent - A minimum of 6 years of work experience in infrastructure engineering, preferable in rural areas - A minimum of 3 years work experience in road maintenance works and trainings - Good English skills - Work experience with local authorities, especially Provincial Departments of Rural Developments and Commune Councils - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Friendly, professional behaviour towards local - Authorities and villagers - Eloquent speech and lecture - Supportive and helpful for trainees and beneficiaries HOW TO APPLY : Cambodian national are strictly to apply.
