Job Description

  Vacancy Type:
Work Experience:5
Age: - Assist partner organizations in the field level to plan, implement and monitor the Homestead Food Production Program
- Assist partner organization to plan, organize and conduct training on HFP
- Work closely with the Training/Nutrition Unit (TUN) to conduct training on nutrition education/behavior change communication (BCC) as needed
- Procure inputs together with partner organization and distribute agriculture inputs to community member
- Assist database management team to plan and conduct surveys/researches and studies related to HFP as needed
- Participate with TUN to design, develop and produce BCC/training materials related to HFP as needed
- Monitor and supervise partner organization’s activities and provide necessary technical and management support to them for successful implementation of the program
- Prepare work plan, production plan for the HFP program
- Liaise with departments of provincial agriculture and health as needed

Job Requirements

  - At least Bachelor degree (preferable Master Degree) in agriculture, Nutrition, Health Science or rural development related field
- At least 5 years-experience of project coordination and management in agriculture, nutrition/health or rural development fields
- Fluency in Khmer and reasonable command of written and spoken English
- Experience of Cambodian rural communities
- Commitment to work in Rattanakiri at least two years
- Experience of working with NGOs
- Willingness to travel regularly to field sites
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skill
- Ability to use Windows-based applications: word processing, excel, simple spreadsheets, email/internet
