| Vacancy Type:Work Experience:Age: Thaneakea Phum ( Cambodia ) Ltd (TPC) is a leading microfinance institution (MFI) in Cambodia currently serving over 91,000 clients. TPC’s mission is to provide poor, rural men and women with economic opportunities to transform the quality of their lives and their communities through the provision of effective, sustainable and client empowering financial services. TPC is owned by Developing World Markets (DWM) DWM is an asset manager and investment bank dedicated to making socially positive investments in order to promote sustainable economic and social development on a global scale. DWM believes that the private sector and capital markets can and should be utilized to create positive economic and social change, and are often the most effective catalysts for doing so. TPC now needs to recruit qualified applicants to fill the Credit Agent position for its branches and sub branches located in districts and provinces such as: Tramkok district, Bati district, Chhouk district, Kampot, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Svay Rieng, Kandal, Banteay Mean Chey, Battambang, Phnom Penh, PoiPet City, Otdar Meanchey, and Kratie provinces. The Credit Agent will be under the supervision of the credit manager. The Credit Agent is responsible for establishing, maintaining, monitoring and evaluating the operations of village banks. The Credit Agent shall perform a dual role, namely as a recorder for village banks more permanently assigned to his/her and as a Treasurer of village banks assigned to him/her on a rotational basis. Promotes and establishes new village banks through networking and using survey &research methodologies Maintains existing village banks and encourages new membership Assists village bank group leaders in their loan application Monitors closely loan utilization, loan repayment and savings generation Prepare monthly operation reports |

| - Studying bachelor degree or bachelor degree of accounting and banking & finance - Experience in handling loans/credit with other institutions preferable - Experience in sale and marketing an advantage - Skills in survey methodologies and techniques - Basic English knowledge - Incorruption, honesty, willingness to help the poor, and hard working |
