Job Description

  * JOB DESCRIPTION
• Lead the day-today management of accounting operations,
including accounts payable, acounts receivable, general
ledger management and internal controls.
• Prepare timely and accurate IFRS financial statements and
reports (P/L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements),
driven by tightly managed monthly close process.
• Develop corporate tax strategy and process all associated
tax and regulatory compliance
• Formulate and implement accounting policies and
procedures as required.
• Manage and maintain the internal control environment,
including the safeguard of assets, development of effective
segregation of duties, ensure that transactions are recorded
properly and minimize all opportunities for fraud or
impropriety.
• Ensure that the company complies with all legal and
regulatory requirements.
• Oversee implementation of a new finance systems, ensuring
systems and processes are efficient and effective
• Manage correspondence and relationships with legal, tax
consultants, banks, regulatory authorities, and other external
stakeholders as required
• Build team/subordinate and individual capability, ensuring
personal effectiveness for work in current and future roles.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of the Finance team.
• Perform other ad hoc task as required by the management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with professional
qualifications – CPA / ACCA / CA
• Big 4 background (audit or tax) and Construction or Property
Developer sector experience
• At least seven years’ experience
• Working knowledge of MS Dynamics Business Central
preferred or with similar ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication, leadership skills with ability to work
effectively with all layers
• Accustomed to working in a fast-pace, unstructured and
complex environment
• Familiarity with Cambodian finance and tax laws is mandatory.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Khmer

* Working Hours & Reporting
This position requires approv ximately 40-45 hours per week;
primary work days shall be Monday to Friday 9 AM – 6 PM with
occasional offsite work. Work outside of official hours will be required on occasions. This position will report to the Finance Director.

* Compensation Package
This is a senior level position with Urban Living Solutions reporting directly to the Finance Director. ULS is offering a competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
This position comes with full international medical coverage and unlimited holiday/leave.
