Job Description

  1.0 Assistant Procurement Manager must be able to forecast levels of demand for specific materials and set out to meet these levels.
2.0 S/he will be come initiative person who lead & deploy Procurement Procedure to ensure procurement job is run smoothly
3.0 Negotiate the best possible terms and conditions with suppliers; such terms may include payment terms, delivery conditions etc.
4.0 Vendor control – liaise with the suppliers to check stock availability and ensure the quality of goods delivered.
5.0 Keep an inventory of goods that have been ordered/delivered
6.0 Coordinate activities with Lead Buyer in order to ensure alignment of objectives and to increase efficiency.
7.0 Liaison with supplies to determine procurement requirements, specifications and supply schedules.
8.0 Coordinate the delivery of goods through suppliers to ensure they arrive on time according to schedule.
9.0 Ensure to inform of any issues or delays relating to procurement and supply of goods.
10.0 Work with Procurement Staff and Accounting Team to develop strategies and procedures.
11.0 Sourcing quality goods from approved local, overseas suppliers and recommending new products and suppliers while focusing on the highest value at good cost.
12.0 Negotiate price and follow up them by mail or phone.
13.0 Find new vendors for better quality as well as better prices.
14.0 Manage and develop procurement contract with all qualified vendors
15. Other tasks will be assigned by manager


Job Requirements

  1.0 Education: Bachelor's degree of Business Administration, Law, Economics, Marketing, Management or other relevant fields
2.0 Experience: Preferably with at least four (04) years experience in Purchasing or Procurement jobs.
3.0 Skills: Computer literate, good people management, good communication in English , good planning, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
4.0 Key Performance Indicator (KPI) will be provided by Direct Manager
