Job Description

  Vacancy Type:
Work Experience:7
Age: - Work out with factory based on client’s comment from fitting/design
- Check patterns with sample and fit notes and daily communication with client on sample comments
- Implement client’s production standards, specifications and protocols throughout the manufacturing process
- Ensure garment adhere to standards of quality and sizing specifications from development through to production stage and production timelines are met
- Responsible for the garment uniformity and consistency as it pertains to fit, construction and quality
- Measure and prepare garments for fit meetings, update paperwork accordingly
- Review and provide comments on samples of all stages in timely manner. Ensure samples meet all specifications
- Develop a good control system in monitoring daily production activities and operation processes and quality levels being achieved
- Random audit the factory inspection process and examine adequate line production process and random check passed units
- Work with factory to solve technical problems and give advice for corrective and preventive action
- Coordinate with Merchandise and QA team to analyze root cause of quality call outs and discrepancies found during production, then address consequent change
- Provide advice on quality and sewing construction related matters to ensure quality meets specifications and minimize quality claims
- Responsible for Fitting Evaluation
- Give guidance to QA Inspectors in manufacturing process during daily walk through the production line

Job Requirements

  * Education & Experience:
- At least 7 years of technical experience in apparel industry
- Well-trained in pattern making
- Able to provide quick solutions to production challenges to prevent delays
- Able to identify and negotiate construction changes with factory and client as necessary without compromising the integrity – aesthetics and fit of the style
- Deep understanding of garment construction and production assembly line
- Good understanding and experiences in knit & woven on all top and bottom products
- Technical University or Polytechnic graduate in textile / clothing is preferred
- Familiar with international quality standards and requirements of US and European clients

* Skills & Knowledge:
- Good command of written and spoken English, an ability to communicate in Mandarin will be valued
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy - knowledge of MS office and e-mail operations
- Systematic approach and good planning skills required
