Job Description

  • Cost Responsibilities
o Overall responsibility for “Cost of Goods manufactured” in the location.
o Direct responsibility for preparation of annual plant budgets and managing operations within approved budget
• Production and Quality Responsibilities
o Direct responsibility for all production and maintenance, activities in the plant
o Responsible for ensuring effective Engagement of operator technicians supervisors and managers working in the plant
o Direct responsibility for maintenance of all equipment and spares.
o Direct responsibility for compliance to SOP of Beverage/ Food manufacturing process.
o Overall responsibility for implementing and reviewing quality system that includes :
 Working closely with quality personnel
 Documentation, document control and record keeping on the production system
 On line Monitoring and control of quality
 Maintenance and calibration of equipments
 Internal auditing and timely corrective action
o Direct responsibility for identification of improvement projects (plant equipment’s, people productivity, utilities efficiencies and process improvements) and execution.
• People Responsibilities
o Direct responsibility for selection, coaching and development of production and maintenance personnel
o Overall responsibility for discipline in the work force.
o Direct responsibility for safety & security of personnel, facilities and equipment.
• Management Responsibilities related to Plant
o Direct responsibility for setting and achieving key indicator goals for the plant.
• Overall responsibility for adherence to local laws, especially labor laws, pollution control laws, fire and explosives, safety, electrical installations etc

Job Requirements

  Education: BTech / MTech / MSc or a equivalent degree in manufacturing and Food Sciences
Experience: 5-8 years of experience
Business Knowledge:
• Comprehensive knowledge of Product and Process of Beverage manufacturing and packing in Cans thru can filling line
• Operating knowledge of various functions
• Basic Financials
• Thorough knowledge of all people-related issues in the factory.
• Thorough knowledge of all laws relevant to manufacturing
• Developments in Food & Beverage Industry.
