Job Description

  - Process patients into the Student Health Center.
- Triage patient when sh/he arrived to Student Health Center.
- In case patient in not urgent or not emergency let patient wait to consult with doctor.
- In case the patient is in urgent or emergent let patient lie down in the bed, take vital sign brief chief complaint write in the chart and calling to see doctor first and complete process to help patient as soon as possible.
- For patient is not urgent or emergency, Help patient to complete patient form for new patient.
- Ask patient history, does sh/he has any severe allergy with medication or food.
- Register patient’s information in to database and in the patient’s chat.
- Take vital sign, Chief Complaint, weight and high then calling to doctor to consult with patient by phone and provide treatment.
- In case patient has accident and injuries, clean wound and do other procedure for patient.
- In case patient has trauma or fracture need to do bandage to prevent immobilization and transfer to Central MTT-SHC for further management and treatment.
- While patient in SHC, administer Medication for patient and observation as doctor’s advice.
- Nursing note and documentation in the patient note.
- Observe vital sign intake and output in case patient has vomiting, diarrhea and high fever.
- Assist patient as needed (Sponge bath to reduce fever, to bathroom, or walking…etc.).
- To be flexible and quickly to help patient setting.
- Clean and organize all medical supplies and hand washing before and after touching patient to be prevention Nasocomial infection.
- Organize patient bed and keeping the patient’s area clean and tidy.
- Clean and Control clinic environment in the SHC is always cleaned and hygiene.
** Medications:
- Dispensary medication by doctor’s prescription and explains to patients to use for the right way at home
- Organize medication in the Medication Cabinet by alphabet, check for expired date, Stock control, physical count, amount of medication every week to verify with stock in database.
- Request order medications from MTT-SHC to refill stock.
- Medication monthly Physical count and report to Head Nurse at Central SHC at MTT.
- Medication is keeping safety in the cabinet and always locked.
- Help to prepare Medication and Dispensary for Dr. Quach Mobile clinic.
- After Dr. Quach Mobile clinic help to do physical count medication and keep it back then give statistic to Head Nurse to do report to finance and MJQF and Group of operation unit.
** Medical Equipments:
- mKnow how to operate all medical equipment being used in Student Health Center.
- Recognize all new medical equipment and how to use it.
- Proper use medical equipment and responsibility for all of them.
- Clean and organize Medical equipment after used it and peek back the same place.

** Teaching:
- Instruction to patient how to take medication with the right way at home.
- Teach to Patient about nutrition which is related to their diseases.
- Instruction to patient to avoid alcohol during taking medication.
- Explain patient to see doctor by follow up or come back as soon if not better.
- Medical Team demonstration First Aid to teacher and student.
- Teaching to Patient for new disease, prevention and announcement.
- Teaching to student or Staff about hygiene.

** Communications: Team Work:
- Work as team and communicate with receptionist front desk, Doctor, Head nurse, Laboratory to help to improve our primary care for staff, student and patients.
- Work as team to promote to sell our package to student families and staff family
- Provide First Aid for student and Staff for field trips.

Job Requirements

  - Associate Degree in Midwifery.
- Nurse for Mengly J. Quach Student Health Center.
- Nurse for ELT School.
- Experience in Clinic and Hospital at field Practices.
- Good motivation team and with good communication.
- Outstanding and sharing experience with good ethically.
- Good management and make good decision for Patient.
- Accountable person and coordination for patient.
- Good time management skills, good communication.
- Knowledge of Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Email, - - Internet, Wechat, Telegram.
