DUTIES • Improved project management and external coordination o Successful implementation of social work platforms and project activities of SGC. o Support the development of an organisational culture that reflects our core values, promotes accountability and high performance, encourages a team culture of learning, creativity and innovation, and deliver outstanding results for children and excellent services for our stakeholders. o Participating in the project and budget design, thematic program and project plan and delivery of the quality of SGC programming. o Project management activities, including work plans, monitoring and evaluation activities, team coordination, budgets, and other tasks. • Technical support o Identify and conduct the Training Need Assessment (TNA) of the project team, and parents for life skills. o Coordinate with each unit manager to conduct training to relevant and government partners related to Social Work and Case Management. o Provide on-going technical support and quality monitoring of Social Work to Tuk-Tuk driver, target families, children, and parents to ensure they receive good quality of social services. o Support SGC to implement Case Management system. o Conduct regular monitoring visits to check the quality of case management files regarding individual clients and track case management progress and services provided. • Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning: o Support coordination of Assessment, Documentation, Review & Evaluation: Social Work, and community partnership building. o Support research methodology and tool development in consultation with relevant stakeholder, line manager and international volunteers. o Coordinate development of action plan for data collection with team, international specialist or volunteer. o Provide technical inputs to data management, analyses and reporting. o Engage in any study, document, baseline, mid-term review and evaluation with team, line manager and Specialists. o Disseminate best practices to team members and other relevant stakeholders. o Work with whole team to ensure the quality of the case management systems. • Field Visit/Follow up support for partners: o Participate in project planning and detailed budgeting at field level to ensure all activities, processes and capacity building for social work are technically sound. o Join field visit with technical partner and document progress, lessons learnt and good practices; and provide feedback (write trip report) to the project and program managers. o Follow up field activities in order to provide prompt mentoring to staff, partners, target groups and beneficiaries. o Measure achievement and progress toward child protection projects and program goals and results through the M&E system. • Networking, relationship and external communication o Maintain good communication and relationship with other technical working groups, NGOs, and government counterparts at all levels in relation to Social Work and case management. o Communicate and consult with line manager, Specialists for any critical issues. o Engage in different external technical social work platforms and forums. • Emergency Preparedness and Response o Provide technical expertise on psychosocial support in emergency preparedness and response to team if needed. • Occasional duty: o Willingness to undertake any other relevant responsibilities entrusted by the Line Manager when requested. |
REQUIREMENTS • University Degree in Social Work/Social Sciences, Sociology, Community Development, or any relevant field. • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in technical aspects of Social Work and community development especially with the most vulnerable people. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English and Khmer. • Strong facilitation and presentation skills will be considered a definite advantage. • Experience working with government actors at both national and sub-national levels. • Ability and willingness to stay and work at rural areas of Kg.
