Job Description

Sustainable Actions to Fight Poverty, Hunger and Malnutrition project is implemented by World Vision Cambodia (WVC) and Farmer Livelihood Development (FLD) with support funding from European Union
We are seeking for a qualified Cambodian national to fill the position of Health and Nutrition Technical Coordinator based in Preah Vihear Province.

I PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The overall purpose of this position is to lead the Health and Nutrition Interventions planned under the Sustainable Actions to Fight Poverty, Hunger and Malnutrition in OMC and PVH provinces project. The HNC will ensure the technical appropriateness and quality of all action proposed under this project towards achievement.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development of technical standards, training manuals, communication materials and other implementation tools for all H&N interventions proposed in the project in support of Specific Object # 3
- Ensure ongoing coordination with the PHD/OD/HCs, National HNP team, other NGOs and stakeholders involved in H&N activities in the project areas
- Lead the design and implementation of M&E components relating to HN interventions of the project
- Support the management Group for ongoing coordination with Donor agencies and WVC & FLD Support Offices for mobilizing funds as well as meeting contractual obligations

Jobs Requirement

- At least three years of formal education in the areas of Health Sciences, Medical Doctor/Assistant or Nurse
- Medical Doctor or Master of Public Health
- Fluency in English and Khmer
- Good facilitation skills, especially in leading training session
- Excellent interpersonal, representational and networking skills and cross cultural sensitivity
- Effective in written and oral communication; be able to speak and write with a standard of English
- Computer literate in Ms World, Ms Excel, Ms power Point, e-mail and internet.
- Sound understanding of gender dimensions and its impact on health and survival of women and children in the country context
