| Vacancy Type:Work Experience:4Age: CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT AND MISSION The Centre for Information Systems Training (CIST) has been created in 2005. Our objective is to enable disadvantaged young people to get a qualified job in the IT field. CIST is an official CISCO academy. We also benefit from strong international partnerships with MICROSOFT, HP, ACCENTURE and NOVELL as well as local ones such as ITC (Sala Techno) and the Royal University of Laws and Economics. To face our new challenges and to manage our development, CIST is looking for an experienced manager to join our team. GENERAL OBJECTIVES: - Develop a strong network with partner companies & organizations in Cambodia and continuously understand their needs. - Provide appropriate internships to our students in collaboration with teachers and companies. - Ensure that each graduate gets a qualified IT job with a fair salary through an efficient outplacement service. - Support our alumni network - Work on the financial sustainability of CIST by generating revenues locally SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage a team of 3 people including two external relation officers (in charge of internship search, company visits for students, and support to job placement) and one external communication officer - Be in charge of fundraising, sponsoring and financial partnerships with companies recruiting our graduates - Lead the marketing & communication of CIST. Define and adjust the communication strategy with the management team. Supervise the design and update of the communication tools. Coordinate the organization and preparation of events (ceremonies, conferences, job fair, press & media coverage) - Maintain and consolidate a sustainable network of relations with companies, institutions and organizations in order to promote the CIST as a reference in IT training. Develop on an on-going basis this network, generate new contacts, always improve our image and notoriety. - Perform regularly market surveys and specific studies on IT and job market. Be responsible to create questionnaires, coordinate interviews, perform data analysis and write comprehensive reports including relevant recommendations. Formalize and share the understanding of companies needs and the vision of the market with the staff in order to adapt the training to the needs of the market. - Lead the new activity of professional external training for companies (generating additional revenues to fund our social activities) - Act as a proactive interface with the CIST Alumni network. - Follow-up and consolidate CIST social impact indicators - Participate to the selection process of CIST (information sessions, exam supervision, conduct motivation interviews). - Collaborate with CIST Training Department on Business Life curricula development & update |
| - Graduate-level degree in business administration. - Minimum of 4-year experience in the related field in a B to B environment (company relationship in a training center) or in Sales & Marketing function in NGO or in private company. - Able to self-train quickly to General IT Knowledge and IT situation in Cambodia. - English spoken fluently and excellent in writing. French would be a plus but is not a requirement. - Communication skills (ability to interact with professionals from companies at high-level, with our mother organization in France, with CIST management and staff, and also with students) - Interest in Education of young people from underprivileged background - Experience in management and coordination, capacity to define objectives and needs for the whole team and to plan and prioritize tasks, - Able to take initiatives and evaluate risks. Able to anticipate and handle critical situations, - Flexible, critical thinking and creative. Organized, rigorous and autonomous. - Able to adapt to different environments and different cultures. |
